November 2012 Mission Critical Energy announces the release of the superwind 350 HD. Based on unusual needs after five years of experience on Granite Island, MI, and after two years on towers for USCG R-21 in Alaska, clients had asked superwind to build a turbine that could survive, even with damaged blades (from falling ice, etc). The Superwind 350-HD incorporates a large back bearing allowing the turbine to survive longer with chipped or partially broken blades- Perfect for turbines sites in extremely high wind areas that cannot be reached for months at a time.
