September 2014 Nunavut, Canada Agnico Eagle Mines Limited installs a new 44m communications tower featuring two superwind 350 turbines 40m up in the structure. It is hoped the turbines will conserve precious diesel in a part of the Arctic where refueling can be difficult. March 2015 Customer Update – Turbines & Tower survived a number of Winter storms and all is working above expectations.
